After finishing a degree in Business Administration, Ed joined the display and fixture industry and has held management positions in Production, Purchasing, Design, Sales, Marketing, President, and C.E.O. After 32 years in the industry, he developed Display Smart, LLC as a resource to retailers, designers, and consumer product companies.
Ed is a member of Retail Design Institute*, past
board director of POPAI*, and has been active in
A.R.E.*. He also served on the Advisory Council
for Sales and Marketing Strategy & News
magazine. He has had articles published in domestic
and international publications.
Ed is one of 30 individuals who has earned a CPP/MaRC* certification through POPAI. He is a contributing author for POPAI's textbooks, Marketing's Powerful Weapon: Point-of-Purchase Advertising and The Power of Point-of-Purchase Advertising: Marketing at Retail.
Ed has provided educational seminars for the industry. He was a seminar speaker at Global Shop on "Display Production Methods and Materials". He has spoken for POPAI at both Point-of-Purchase from All Angles and P.L.O.T. (Professional Leaders of Tomorrow) and an International Audio Web seminar.

Ed has been married to Peggy, his best friend, since
1970. They have two married sons and four grandchildren.
Besides being active in the industry, Ed is a private
